# Postion Information
## Summary of Duties
This position is responsible for widely diverse activities in the areas of consulting, technical support and systems administration, including maintaining OS X Mac computer labs for the Department of Fine Arts electronic imaging equipment. This includes maintenance of OS X faculty accounts, as well as installation of all hardware and software of labs. The person is expected to provide technical assistance for all computers, printers, scanners, etc., and perform technical assistance for faculty and regular updates of operating systems and software. In addition, the person provides assistance and consultation directly to the Fine Arts faculty and graduate students with regards to personal computers and software.

## Required Qualifications
Three years of information technology experience; OR equivalent education/experience.
## Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelors degree and two years professional experience or combination of education and experience totaling six years from which comparable knowledge and abilities are acquired. Education and experience may be tailored to specific need requirements of position.
Experience providing technical assistance and consultation in a Macintosh environment.
Experience with OS X server software, current Macintosh hardware and software.
Working knowledge of common graphics software including Adobe Photoshop and other related application.
Experience overseeing or managing a Macintosh Lab including purchasing of equipment and parts for computers and printers.
